// Thermal PCB Inspection
HotSpotter turns your USB thermal camera into a professional PCB inspection tool. Calibrated temperature readings, real-time thermal imaging, and multi-camera support — all in a clean Windows desktop app.
// Features
Built for electronics engineers who need accurate, actionable thermal data — not consumer gimmicks.
Real-time calibrated thermal imaging from your USB camera. Full-frame streaming with configurable color palettes to reveal temperature gradients the moment you point the camera.
Pixel-accurate temperature measurement at cursor position. Uses proper raw sensor conversion (raw ÷ 64 − 273.15 °C) for scientifically meaningful readouts you can trust.
Works natively with InfiRay A1T, Topdon HT-301 (UVC) and Thermal Master P3 (vendor protocol), with more cameras being added. Plug in your hardware and HotSpotter handles the driver details.
NUC (Non-Uniformity Correction) support for consistent flat-field thermal accuracy. Per-camera lens configuration presets with user-editable profiles stored locally.

// Real-World Results
An SP4T RF switch in a flip-chip QFN package, with DC current applied through one path to generate localised heating. HotSpotter resolves individual bond pad traces and pinpoints the die hot spot through the package — the kind of measurement electronics labs run every day.

Many employees never realize they are using CyberArk. When you log into an internal portal to access a "secure server," psminitsessionexe may start in the background on a dedicated PSM server (not your local laptop) or, in some configurations, on your local machine if you use the CyberArk Agent.
If you see generic connection failure messages before the session loads, the issue might be with the networking prerequisites rather than the file itself.
: It serves as the primary session initiator. When a user connects via PSM, the server establishes a Remote Desktop (RDP) session and automatically executes this program to start the privileged session flow. psminitsessionexe
First, log onto the PSM server and navigate to the default installation path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberArk\PSM\Components Ensure that PSMInitSession.exe is physically present. If not, you may need to repair your CyberArk PSM installation.
If you are a cyber security analyst or system administrator working with CyberArk PAM Self-Hosted or Privilege Cloud, understanding how this file works—and how to fix its most common errors—is vital to keeping your infrastructure online. The Role of PSMInitSession.exe in CyberArk Many employees never realize they are using CyberArk
Only remove or disable psminitsessionexe if you are certain Puppet is no longer needed. Uninstalling the process incorrectly can break existing automation.
: Often signals a permissions or AppLocker block preventing the file from running at all. : It serves as the primary session initiator
psminitsessionexe is not a virus or a mysterious Windows process. It is a vital, legitimate executable for organizations using CyberArk's Privileged Session Manager to secure their most sensitive assets. It serves as the bridge between the user's connection request and the isolated target environment.
If you are a system admin or security engineer, you (or your security team) installed CyberArk. The process runs as part of the PSM service to:
