Myo XP models came with a battery pack positioned either at the back of the headband (standard version) or on a belt clip (belt version). The remote belt pack allowed the weight to be carried on your waist rather than your head, which is a tremendous advantage over long periods. It also protects the batteries from cold, as the pack can be worn under clothing.

Loop a small zip-tie around the cable inside the housing just before it exits. This acts as a mechanical stop, preventing the wire from being pulled out by accident.

If the springs are too damaged, they can be removed, cleaned, and stretched for better contact. If the wire inside the terminal is broken, you must solder it back.

If you aren't using the headlamp for more than a month, remove the batteries to prevent catastrophic leakage.
