LEGACY DOWNLOADS

Fortunately, the PES community solved this problem using Option Files. While later editions of PES made importing these files incredibly simple via USB, PES 2015 on the PS4 has a unique history and specific limitations you need to know.

On your computer, open the USB drive and create a folder named PS4 . Inside that folder, create another folder named SAVEDATA .

If your goal is to enjoy a fully licensed PES experience on PS4, consider purchasing PES 2016 or later. These games support full image importing and have extensive community option files available for free.

This method involves downloading a complete user "Edit Data" save file from a community member and overwriting your own save file.

The process for the end user was a medieval ritual. You would download a 500MB zip file from a file-sharing site. Inside: 200 folders, each representing a team. You would copy these to a FAT32-formatted USB stick, plug it into the PS4, and spend an hour in the game’s “Import Team” menu, selecting each file one by one. There was no “batch import.” The game would often crash on the 147th team. You would lose your place. You would start again. This was not user-friendly; it was a labour of love. For every person who succeeded, ten gave up, posting desperate pleas on Reddit: “Why is my Celtic kit green and black squares?” The answer was always the same: you didn’t follow the folder structure exactly.

Plug the USB drive into one of the front USB ports of your PS4. Navigate to > Application Saved Data Management . Select Saved Data on USB Storage Device . Click Copy to System Storage . Select Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 .
